Hello Fellow Riders, Wanted to share some personal experience and insight into two types of riding boots that I've been using of late. The old pair that I've had for four years, ROSSI ROADSTER SHORT ANKLE, versus the second and new pair I purchased being the RST STUNT BOOT (without heal).  After 4 years of use and 2 seasons of North American Winter (lived in NY for 2 years & didn't want to buy walking boots) the Rossi's were looking and feeling a-little worn.  The Rossi boots have been and are very sturdy and strong. They were my first pair of riding boots. Without any comparison, I've not had reason to complain about them too much. My only real issue was the stiffness and lack of flexibility when walking. Hello WhichBike community, Recently got myself a new set of gloves for day to day riding & have been every impressed with comfort and manoeuvrability I wanted to share the joy. The number of gloves on the market is huge and can be overwhelming. At least I found it overwhelming. I headed off to my local motorcycle store and started to look through all the gloves. Hello WhichBike, Well after 20 years & a few intermittent years of fair-weather riding I got my license and bought a new bike at the ripe ol'age of 45 but this comes with a major commitment. That is we have laws that restrict all new riders to buying a 1000cc bike.  I will break this down for those not in NSW Australia. To obtain a NSW rider licence you must complete various stages of training and testing. The training covers the key skills required for riding on the road and are taught in two stages – pre-learner and pre-provisional. If there is no training centre in your area, you are encouraged to do the rider training, but it is not compulsory.
